Dow Jones & Company reported today that RezVen Partners is raising a formal fund aimed at growing and accelerating technology startups. The fund, which is expected to total $50 million, is comprised of both RezVen investment and outside backers.
RezVen Partners specializes in helping startups disrupt mobile, social, digital and advertising technologies. According to Dow Jones, “The firm will look to make seed investments of as little as $250,000 up to Series A investments of as much as $5 million, with the aim of getting an equity stake of 10% or more in portfolio companies.”
The firm plans to pace its investment and plans for 5 to 12 deals per year in order to provide hands-on strategic guidance for each portfolio company.
